Downtown barbers checks every box. The convenient location, the cool atmosphere, and always receiving helpful style/growth tips. April has helped me turn my hair from a frustration to something I am proud of!
Downtown Barber serves Wall Township with classic barbering services, modern haircuts, scissor cuts, fades, skin fades, children's haircuts, beard trims and hot towel straight razor shaves.
Wall Township's Neighborhood Barber Shop
Downtown Barber has served Wall Township families from a storefront that has been a barber shop for almost seventy years, and we carry that tradition on today. Our barber shop has always been a comfortable space with friendly barbers. Since 2018, we have given the shop a full renovation with a modern vintage look, while keeping everything a classic barber shop should have, from a good haircut to a hot towel shave.
We keep that legacy alive every day, with sharp haircuts and clean fades, and with hospitality. Have a fresh cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and take a break from the busy world. The shop is always clean, the leather chairs are comfortable, and kids leave with a cookie or a lollipop.
The haircuts and fades in our gallery show the work we do every day. We also serve Farmingdale, Howell, Freehold and Ramtown.

What Customers Say
I went to Downtown Barber and I had an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly and inviting and I love the classic barbershop theme they have. I highly recommend going to Breanne to cut your hair! I was in desperate need of a haircut and she was able to give life to my hair after a very long quarantine. I will definitely be returning here for my next haircut!
This Barber shop is fantastic. Brianne cuts hair with precision every time. This place has the old time feel of barber shops gone by, but still listen and do what you request. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
Great local place to get a haircut! We went there for the first time the past week and our hair turned out great! Their interior design is very nice and accommodating. Also, Elvin was a great barber. This was the best haircut we've had in a long time. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Wall Township holds two pieces of American history. Allaire State Park preserves the Howell Iron Works, a company town founded in 1822 that once employed over four hundred people making iron from bog ore, until the furnace closed in 1846. A few miles away, Camp Evans began in 1912 as a Marconi wireless station and later became the Army lab where radar was developed. In 1946 a signal sent from that site reached the moon.
Our storefront on Main Street became a barber shop around the same time those radar labs were still running. It has been one ever since.
